Biggane, 80, of Muncie, IN passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, IL following a sudden illness. She was born April 28, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Francis and Meryl (Guy) Prentice. She married Arthur Biggane on October 8, 1949 in Chicago, He preceded her in death in 1992: She retired from bookkeeping and went to attend classes at Central Florida da Community College before an illness in 1993. She was a devoted Christian and prayer warrior and a member of College Avenue United Methodist Church in Muncie, IN. She was an avid reader and enjoyed attending musical concerts.

She is survived by four children, Meryl Mantione of Muncie, Arlene Mix (husband Harold) of Citra, FL, Marjorie Kats (husband John) of Worth, IL, and Arthur Biggane of Worth, IL; 12 grandchildren, Bethany Sage (husband Brian), Nicole Di Paula (husband Michael), Charles Mix (wife Rene), Christine Strosahl (husband Donnie), Barret Poppell, Jamie McClain (husband Brian), John Kats, Zac Kats, Rachel Kats, Amanda Biggane, A.J. Biggane, and Justin Slee; and five greatgrandchildren, Bailey Sage, Zackery Poppell, Austin Strosahl, Alex Strosahl, and Ashley Strosahl. A funeral service to celebrate Meryl's life will be 2pm Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at College Avenue United Methodist Church at 1968 W. Main Street in Muncie, IN with Pastor David Arnold officiating. Burial will be Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Ocala, FL at a later date with a private service at that time.
