Awesome beach in onceaside. This pier is one of best I have visited so far. Spend your weekend or free time with friends and family at this beautiful beach. Ideal for surfing and other activities too. You can also enjoy sea foods and ice creams at Tin Fish.
One of the very first places I learned to stand up on a surfboard. Must have been 1975ish. On a 6'4" Jonny B Good. (Harbor Surf Gallery.) Winged-back swallowtail.
The history of this place is unparalleled in Southern California. I would recommend you go there when in the area. From the fishing to good food, the funnel cake and the galour, I love it all.

A wooden pier that stretches into the ocean. We could see hundreds of fish in the water below.
Fun pier to stroll out and back on with great views both north and south.
